Shop Policies
How I ship, what I guarantee, and the small print — written plainly so there are no surprises.
📦 Shipping timeline
Plant and 3D-printed orders ship 1–15 business days from order placement. I am a one person shop, so please be patient. While I always try to ship as quickly as possible, order volume, incoming imports, and/or custom print volume may cause some delays. If you need me to expedite your shipment for any reason, please just let me know.
I aim to ship earlier in the week — Monday through Wednesday — so your order isn't held over a weekend at a warehouse.
Tracking is emailed to you the moment your order is on its way.
❄️ Cold-weather shipping
When forecast temperatures along your shipping route drop below 50°F, you should add Plant Cold Weather Packaging to your cart. Live plants can't safely ship in cold weather without insulation and/or an active heat pack.
For severe cold-weather events along your route, I may hold your order and email you to coordinate a safer ship date. If you live in a region with a history of slow winter transit, I recommend selecting an expedited shipping option.
🌿 Plant transit stress
Even with careful packing, plants can stress in shipping. Some leaf yellowing, browning, leaf drop, or limpness on arrival is within normal range — plants typically recover within a week or two of unpacking and acclimation.
Unpack your plant promptly when it arrives. Place it in bright indirect light, water if the medium feels dry, and let it settle for several days before repotting.
🌱 Roots policy
All plant listings are sold as lightly rooted by default. Lightly rooted means: roots have started forming and the plant is actively establishing, but it does not have a robust, mature rootball.
This is the baseline expectation regardless of what you actually receive. If the plant you get is more heavily rooted than “lightly rooted,” consider it a bonus — but the listing only contractually offers a lightly rooted plant.
The only exception: variants explicitly labeled “Unrooted Cutting” (or similar wording in the variant selection) are sold as fresh cuts with no roots.
This policy keeps expectations clear on both sides and prevents disagreements about whether a plant was “rooted enough” for the price paid.
↩️ Order changes & cancellations
We're happy to help with order changes before shipment whenever we can — email us as soon as possible if something needs to be adjusted.
Cancellations are subject to a 30% restocking fee. This covers payment processing, holding inventory, and the time already invested in preparing your order. The remaining 70% is refunded to your original payment method.
Cancellations are not accepted after an order has shipped — at that point, all plant sales are final (see below).
🔒 All plant sales are final
Because every plant is a living individual and we have no way to verify post-purchase care, all plant sales are final once shipped. By completing your purchase you're agreeing to these terms.
This means:
· No refunds for plants that decline after arrival, once they have acclimated successfully
· No refunds for buyer's remorse after shipping
· No returns on live plants
We will always make things right when something is wrong on our end — see “What we cover” below.
🪴 3D-printed pot leak guarantee
All 3D-printed pot listings (cover pots and self-watering pots) carry a leak guarantee: if your pot leaks, send us a short video showing the leak and we'll refund or replace it. No questions asked.
This guarantee covers manufacturing defects. It doesn't cover leaks caused by cracking from drops, freezing, or improper handling after delivery.
✅ What I cover
· Wrong item shipped → message us within 48 hours of delivery with photos; we'll send the correct item
· Clearly DOA (dead on arrival) plants → message us within 48 hours of delivery with photos showing condition; I'll work with you on a resolution
· Packaging failure (broken pot, dislodged plant during transit) → message within 48 hours with photos
❌ What I don't cover
· Carrier delays, weather delays, or damage in transit beyond initial packaging, but I will help with claims
· Lost or stolen packages once handed to the carrier (file a claim with USPS/UPS)
· Plant decline weeks or months after arrival, once acclimation appeared successful
· Plants stressed from weather
