Alocasia 'Blizzard' (Odora Batik)

Alocasia 'Blizzard' (also sold as Alocasia odora 'Batik') is prized for its bold, glossy heart-shaped leaves splashed with creamy white and mint-green variegation — the batik-like patterning gives each leaf a hand-painted look no two plants share.

Grower's Choice listing: We hand-select each plant from current stock for health and quality. Choose your size:

• Corm — Heart Case + Riser: One viable corm, shipped in a clear heart case with corm riser. The riser keeps the corm elevated above moisture, preventing rot and creating the warm, humid microclimate corms need to break dormancy and push their first leaf.
• Teenager: A rooted plant past the corm stage, already pushing leaves and developing variegation. Ships potted in one of our signature self-watering pots with clear insert for easy root monitoring. A great starting point for collectors who want to skip the corm-rearing phase.

Care: Bright, indirect light. Warm temperatures (70°F+) and humidity above 60% encourage strong, stable variegation. Use a chunky aroid mix and let the top inch dry between waterings — Alocasia hate soggy roots but will sulk if allowed to fully dry out. Some leaf drop in winter dormancy is normal; new growth resumes with warmth.

Insulation and/or Heat Pack strongly recommended for shipping when temperatures drop below 50°F.
